AMERICA is “on the cusp” of a wave of terror attacks by radicalised ISIS fanatics following a summer of violence in Europe, a senior security expert has warned.

Dr Sally Leivesley, a specialist in catastrophic and extreme risk, said the US was already starting to feel the shockwaves of attacks in Germany and France.
Towns and cities from New York to San Bernardino have been hit by bombings, stabbings and shootings by fanatics professing allegiance to terrorist group in the last two years.
But the security expert said the number of attacks was likely to increase in the coming months.
She told a gathering of security experts in London: “America is just on the cusp of starting this rollover of attacks which turn into persistent and supported attacks by recruited people in these countries.
“We’ve had Paris, we’ve had Brussels, we’ve started to see increased attacks come through Germany, even Switzerland.
“Certainly in the UK there have been a lot of arrests to preempt attacks.”
