Mr Rumsfeld, who was in the role from 2001 to 2006 under George Bush, was stopped in the street in New York by conspiracy theorist journalist Luke Rudowski and asked about the collapse of the smaller tower block known as Building 7, which was several hours later…… THAN WHAT?
Conspiracy theorists claim the collapse of the building must have been deliberate, thereby proving 9/11 was an inside job, because it was not damaged enough by the other two towers falling for the result to happen.
The claim the west was involved in plotting, organising, and even carrying out the terror atrocities to provide the grounds for the military strikes on the so-called Axis of Evil, remains one of the world’s biggest conspiracy theories.
Mr Rudowski interviewed Mr Rumsfeld for a video about the Building 7 conspiracy.
He asked him: “Have you heard of Building 7, because there was like this radio show where you said you hadn’t heard of it?”
Mr Rumsfeld replied: “No I haven’t. What’s Building 7?”
After Mr Rudowski said it was the third skyscraper to fall, Mr Rumsfeld, said: “Oh my gosh, sure now I remember that.”
“Did you do any research into that?” Asked Mr Rudowski.
