Huge bomb explosion at night market in Philippines injures at least 20

AT least 24 people have been injured after a huge bomb explosion at a night market in the Philippines.

According to Davao City police, the busy Roxas Night Market was hit by the blaze at 10.20pm local time.

Witnesses reported hearing loud bangs and smoke billowed across the city.

Dozens of people were injured in the blast, and were rushed to the San Pedro Hospital for treatment.
