The New York Times’ editorial board published an op-ed today recommending that the Clintons step away from their foundation
The op-ed also suggested that the Clinton Foundation stop taking foreign donations now, instead of just limiting them to certain countries
Rival Donald Trump’s campaign said the editorial was a rebuke of Clinton’s ‘poor judgment’ and ‘broken ethical compass’

Donald Trump’s campaign is touting this morning an editorial from the left-leaning New York Times that advises Hillary Clinton to cut ties with the Clinton Foundation.

The Times’ editorial board prescribes that all three family members – Hillary, Bill and Chelsea Clinton – walk away from the foundation through the duration of the Democratic nominee’s presidency, should she win, and cut off all foreign and corporate donations now.

‘The fact that even the liberal New York Times thinks the Clinton Foundation presents an unacceptable conflict of interest is a devastating rebuke of Hillary Clinton’s poor judgment and broken ethical compass,’ Trump’s senior communications adviser Jason Miller told reporters in a statement.
