TWO nuns have revealed how one crazed Islamic State butcher “smiled” at them before slashing the throat of an 84-year-old priest in France.

Sisters Helene Decaux and Huguette Peron recalled the horror of how the demented killers slaughtered Father Jacques Hamel in a Normandy church last Tuesday.
The elderly priest was murdered after 19-year-old Adel Kermiche and Abdel Malik Petitjean stormed the church in Saint-Etienne-du-Rouvray, near Rouen, in Northern France.
The sisters, both in their 80s, were trapped in the church with the twisted teenagers, who reportedly forced an 84-year-old parishioner to film the horrific scenes.
Sister Helene said: “Jacques shouted at them, ‘Stop! What are you doing?’ It was then that one of them struck the first blow to his throat.”
She recalled how Petitjean and Kermiche had been aggressive at first, but calmed down once they had slit Father Jacques’ throat.
