Trump made the remarks at his Phoenix and Nevada rallies on Saturday
He said that plans by delegates to oust him at the RNC were illegal
And he implied Kasich and Cruz were in on the action
In fact, it’s just Republican delegates who are trying to change the rules
They want to ‘vote with their consciences’ against Trump
At present they have to stick with the popular vote – for The Donald

Though the usual band of protesters chanted outside Donald Trump’s rally at the Veteran’s Memorial Coliseum in Phoenix, Arizona, Saturday, Trump focused instead on a threat from within the party.

Speaking to an audience of a few thousand, he talked repeatedly of the cabal of Republican delegates who plan to oust him at the Republican National Convention (RNC) in Cleveland in July.

‘I hear they want to try do something at the convention. Wouldn’t it be funny if Trump gets record setting votes in the states, and somebody what was beat by me like a drum says our nominee (isn’t me)?’ he said, according to Yahoo News.
