The devastating attack could leave one million people dead in “the most unforgiving battle conditions” according to former White House adviser Victor Cha.

With the hermit state on the brink of collapse due to huge food shortages, unpredictable leader Kim Jong-un is now preparing his huge army for an huge invasion.

A life-size replica of the South Korean presidential palace has been created to allow Jong-un’s army to train for the devastating attack, which would cost $1 billion to fight and cause $1 trillion worth of damage.

In his book, The Impossible State, Mr Cha reveals that the invasion would begin with predawn air drops and landings along the coast, in which bridges, power stations and communication networks would be destroyed to “paralyse the population.”

Then South Korea would be pounded with half a million artillery shells an hour, with 600 chemical weapons destroying airports, preventing the terrified population from escaping.

Other missiles trained on Japan and submarines patrolling the waters would prevent a quick response from the West, allowing 700,000 North Korean troops and 2,000 tanks to cross the border through secret underground invasion tunnels.

With terrified South Korean residents blocking roads and inadvertently stalling their own army, North Korean troops would then march on Seoul.

There, Cha said, they would kill hundreds of thousands with 5,000 metric tons of nerve gas, mustard gas and weaponised diseases.
