US analysts have used satellite pictures of North Korea to spot evidence that the rogue state is looking to produce more plutonium for nuclear weapons.

Research group 38 North have been watching the Nyongbyon nuclear complex via commercial satellite amid a flurry of weapons-related tests by North Korea.

The website says that images taken on Monday shows a rail flatcar at radiochemical laboratory where North Korea separates weapons-grade plutonium from waste from a nuclear reactor.
