Republican frontrunner Donald Trump’s campaign manager Corey Lewandowski has been charged with simple battery for allegedly grabbing a reporter in Florida.
Initial reports said Lewandowski was arrested in Florida, but the Trump campaign quickly pushed back saying in a statement that he had turned himself in.
The charge stems from a March 8 incident involving Lewandowski and now former Breitbart reporter Michelle Fields.
After a press conference, Fields tried approaching the candidate to ask a question at the Trump National Golf Course in Jupiter, Florida.
Fields said she was grabbed by Lewandowski, even releasing a photo of the bruises his fingers left on her arm.
