Dr. Jim Willie: We’re in the Bottom of the 9th; The US Dollar is Almost Dead!

In the video below, Will from Perpetual Assets interviews Dr. Jim Willie, and gets Jim’s latest assessment on the economic disaster headed our way. Dr. Willie begins by mentioning we’re in the bottom of the ninth inning, and the U.S. Dollar is just about dead. One can only assume Dr. Willie’s reference to the ninth inning implies that we are FAR past the point of no return when it comes to saving ourselves, and he even makes a joke that he’s becoming traumatized by the rapid succession of bad financial news being broadcast so quickly these days. In the current environment, markets are unwinding and crumbling so quickly, he says he’s finding it hard to keep up, often causing him to forget what day it even is.
The ultimate casualty for America in what is unfolding financially, is the death of the U.S. Dollar, and our status as the World Reserve Currency, but Jim says tensions appear to be escalating much further that just the currency.
He says what has started as a currency war, is beginning to potentially transition into a hard war involving military assets. Dr. Willies brings up an incident just over a week ago, when there were a series of deadly blasts at a Tianjin warehouse that got very little press here in the West. What is so concerning about the blasts he explains, is that Tianjin is actually one of the most strategic centers in all of China, perhaps even more than the Shanghai ports, and early rumors are suggesting the explosion was from a small nuclear device.
