A U.S. customs office had to be evacuated and dozens of staff quarantined when employees reported feeling ill shortly after discovering a suspicious white powder in a package.
A female member of staff at the Almeda office, in California, raised the alarm when she began feeling nauseous, dizzy and eye irritation after coming into contact with the powdery substance yesterday afternoon.
Within minutes, two more employees at the U.S. Customs and Border protection office had fallen sick, according to NBC.
