Have you heard of House Resolution 14? It is a bill that urges the president to declassify the 28-page finding on foreign government involvement in supporting the 9/11 hijackers.

Support for the bill has surged with seven more House members adding their names to the resolution just last week.

That support sits on top of the fifteen members who have joined since December 9, bringing the total members on board to 35.

The 28 pages are an entire section within the official report of the Joint Inquiry into Intelligence Community Activities Before and After the Terrorist Attacks of September 11, 2001. The pages have reportedly linked Saudi officials to two of the Saudi hijackers.

The Obama Administration has refused to release the pages that were made classified during the Bush presidency.

The spike in support for the declassification comes against the backdrop of recent terror attacks in Paris and San Bernardino, California, and increased scrutiny of Saudi Arabia’s alleged role in funding extremism.

According to 28pages.org, the concealment of the pages does the following:

Prevents the American people from reaching informed judgments about the nation’s foreign and defense policies—past and future
Shields the sponsors of extremism from consequences for their actions—encouraging their continued sponsorship and endangering countless lives at home and abroad
Undermines the ability of 9/11 family members to achieve courtroom justice against governments who aided and abetted the deaths of their loved ones
