Series of Explosions Hit Center of Afghanistan’s Capital

Several explosions rocked the center of Afghanistan’s capital of Kabul on Monday, local media reported.
MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The blasts happened after at least three rockets were fired from the location, yet to be determined, according to Afghan news agency Khaama Press.
One of the missiles reportedly landed in Kabul’s district, where numerous foreign diplomatic missions are located.
On December 11, a car bomb detonated in Kabul’s Sherpor area, the location of several embassies and government buildings, close to the Spanish diplomatic mission, killing eight people, including two Spanish police officers. The blast was followed by heavy gunfire.
