ISIS has claimed responsibility for the California attack on a social services agency that left 14 people dead.
The terror group announced in an online radio broadcast that two ISIS followers had carried out the attack in San Bernardino on Wednesday.
‘Two followers of Islamic State attacked several days ago a center in San Bernardino in California,’ the group’s daily broadcast al-Bayan said.
U.S. government sources have said that there is no evidence the attack was directed by the militant group, or that the organization even knew who the attackers were.
The FBI is referring to the attack as an ‘act of terrorism’.
President Obama used his weekly address on Saturday to highlight the need for the country to crack down on gun laws.
