Jim Willie: The Dollar is in the Hearse, Going to the Morgue

In an interview on April 2, 2015 with Will Lehr of Perpetual Assets and Dr. Jim Willie, editor of the Hat Trick Letter, Will asks:
Is it possible that we are going to be sitting here in 2 or 3 years and all these situations have only accelerated even further? Is this thing like terminal close?
Willie: Yes, I think we are terminal close. I don’t think 2 or 3 years we are going to be anywhere remotely where we are now. I think in 2 or 3 years we are going to have a different dollar.
There’s no way in hell we have 2 or 3 years.
We are going to see some extreme advances this year.
This is the year that I said it would be the year of accelerated events towards the dollar’s destruction.
I am extremely optimistic that we are going to see some good outcomes. By the end of this year it’s going to be pretty clear that the dollar must be replaced. They are arguing over the structure of the new dollar.
This [new dollar] is going to be in competition with say, a gold-backed yuan, gold-backed ruble and central Europe’s new Deutsche Mark that’s gold-backed. I think the BRICS gold central bank system is going to have several currencies that are all gold-backed.
