NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said NATO was increasing its presence among eastern European states adding that “this is only the beginning.”

WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — The NATO alliance is undergoing the largest increase in reinforcing its collective defense, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said Wednesday.

“We are implementing the biggest reinforcement of our collective defense since the end of the Cold War,” Stoltenberg said at the Washington, DC NATO Transformation Seminar.
