Jade Helm 15: 10 States Now Involved with Massive US Military Exercise

The Jade Helm realistic military training program will take place in seven states across the country, including Mississippi and Louisiana. Forces will be given realistic scenarios with limited resources and are encouraged to work with civilians.
About 90 percent of the forces in Tom Green County will be Army Green Berets, combat veterans and some Navy Seals, Mead said. All players involved in the program , even those playing the role of enemy forces, will wear arm bands to identify them as a part of the training exercise.
Members of the Tom Green County Sheriff’s Office , Shannon Medical Center and officials at other counties involved already have been briefed, Mead said.
“We like to have local citizens involved,” Mead said.
