As word around Washington, D.C., spreads that President Obama plans some sort of executive action on amnesty for millions of people in the U.S. illegally, a noted government watchdog has said that the president may be planning something far more ominous: bringing scores of patients sick with the Ebola virus into U.S. hospitals.

According to the group Judicial Watch, which made a name for itself exposing scandals during the Clinton Administration, “sources” have told JW staff that Obama is preparing to do just that:

Judicial Watch has learned that the Obama administration is actively formulating plans to admit Ebola-infected non-U.S. citizens into the United States for treatment. Specifically, the goal of the administration is to bring Ebola patients into the United States for treatment within the first days of diagnosis.

The organization said it was not clear who would pick up the tab for the “high costs” of treating such highly contagious patients after moving them all the way to the U.S. from Africa, but it would most likely be American taxpayers.

JW reported that its sources say executive action could include “special waivers of laws and regulations” that currently prevent the admission of non-citizens to the country who are sick with highly communicable (and deadly) diseases.

“One source tells us that the Obama administration is keeping this plan secret from Congress,” JW reported. “The source is concerned that the proposal is illegal; endangers the public health and welfare; and should require the approval of Congress.”
