Hyped-up Ebola fears have descended into the Western World, splattered all over the media and dripping like infectious blood through the minds of Americans. When the Western medical system failed to properly identify the first stray case of Ebola, two other nurses were infected and isolated. With several unaccounted West Africans traveling liberally to the US, some people are worried that they might cross paths with another stray case of the Ebola virus, as it travels intercontinentally through the airlines. A new GfK poll shows that Americans are more afraid of flying than ever. More than one-fourth (27%) are afraid to board flights because of the Ebola threat.

The more people fear Ebola, the more susceptible society is to its potential chaos. Why? It’s because fear weakens the immune system. A prepared individual, strong in mind, body and spirit, has nothing to fear.

Here’s what America should really be concerned with

In fact, fear will only lead one to a state of dependence on the medical system in the end (which is much more deadly than a single Ebola virus). Look at the stats. After studying the pandemic in West Africa, it’s becoming apparent that the treatment centers and their under-trained, under-prepared staff and unorganized, unethical quarantines might be more dangerous in the end. A little bit of health self-reliance goes a long way in preventing being controlled by a blind medical system. Who wants to be corralled into a medical system where one is more susceptible to superbugs and airborne viruses?
