A series of questions are going to be asked at the end of this article, simple questions that are not being asked by the mainstream media, Congress or anyone for that matter, but these questions are obvious when one looks at the publicly available information, which brings up the main question of why is no one asking?
Starting with a NYT article showing that 38 states now have confirmed cases of the enterovirus 68 also called EV68 and EV D68, which as the NYT headline states “mystifies scientists.” The article explains that hospitals across the US are being inundated with children, most very young children, to the point where in some cases they have to divert ambulances because they have no more available beds or capabilities to treat these young patients.
The article explains that 226 cases of EV 68 have been confirmed according to the CDC, and that it is “likely many times that number.” An example of how fast this is spreading and to the numbers, just one hospital, Childrens Hospital Colorado, saw 3,600 children from August 18 to September 24, and roughly 10 percent of those children had to be admitted.
The key sentence comes five paragraphs in to the article, “Enteroviruses are common, but this strain is not.”
