Celente: “What most people are now focusing on is what’s going on in Iraq. This is the war that never ends. We are now in the 11th year. Despite President Bush saying, ‘Mission accomplished,’ and a host of generals saying, ‘We are winning the war,’ now we are seeing the implications of total failure of the Iraq war.
Before the war started, in the Trends Journal I predicted that there would be a swift battlefield victory and that Saddam Hussein would be overthrown because of U.S. military might, but that it would then devolve into a never-ending civil war. That’s what we have now….
