Fake Conservatives Terrified Cantor Loss Will Embolden Rand Paul, Ted Cruz

GOP Congressman Peter King has perfectly encapsulated the fear running through establishment Republicans following the victory of tea party favorite Dave Brat, who won the Republican primary for Virginia’s 7th Congressional District.

Defeating House Majority Leader Eric Cantor, Brat’s “miracle” victory has sent a shockwave through Washington DC, and has prompted King to warn that the GOP is in danger of a “take over” from libertarian conservatives and their supporters.

“We can’t allow [Eric Cantor’s] defeat last night allow the Ted Cruzes and the Rand Pauls to take over the party, or their disciples to take over the party,” King said on MSNBC.
