A Tsunami Of Gun Control Is Forming

PATRIOTS: The Second Amendment Foundation’s biggest task is to protect people’s Second Amendment rights in the courts by challenging unconstitutional gun control laws throughout the entire United States.
We currently have 19 open cases; that number could rise substantially with all of the knee jerk, anti-gun reaction we have seen from the Isla Vista shooting spree.
It took less than a week after the shooting for Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and California to introduce new anti-gun legislation.
Last year it was the Sandy Hook tragedy that triggered a massive push for new gun control at every level. It already seems like the Isla Vista shooting will be the trigger for mass anti-gun proposals in 2014.
It is imperative we stand up to this wave of new gun control we are going to see at every level. It is going to take an exhausting effort from every patriot in our country to stand up to the propaganda filled anti-gun campaigns that follow every mass shooting.
Some of the reaction from the Isla Vista has been nothing short of disturbing; here is what some citizens would like:
“I would ban guns. I detest guns and believe they bring nothing but misery. I know you won’t like this answer.”
“Then lets go stricter! Like England or Japan where almost no one dies from hand guns.”
“We’ve had shootings on campus, and at the same time, some states are passing laws to explicitly let people carry guns on campuses.”
“For too long, change has been thwarted by the Washington gun lobby and by leaders who refuse to take commonsense steps that will save lives,”
