Inmates At 5 Colorado Prisons Ill With Mysterious Virus
DENVER (CBS4) – More than 160 inmates in five Colorado prisons are sick with a mysterious virus.
The virus is affecting prisons in Denver, Pueblo, Buena Vista, and Canon City.
Because of the illness all inmate visits at the Denver Women’s, La Vista, and Fremont correctional facilities have been canceled.
The Department of Corrections says the inmates who are sick have been experiencing flu-like symptoms.
