I have retired from the military medically some 20yrs ago so I do not know what is the “NORM” today. I have used my base privilages since retirement to go to the Exchange and Commisary. I have NEVER in all those years seen foreign paratroopers meandering around the exchange. I spoke with one American soldier and asked where the party was and enquired about all the soldiers, his reply was they have been there for a few weeks practicing urban warfare and rapelling from our choppers in a joint training excercise he was told. I saw Soldiers wearing the flag of Sweden, Poland, Germany, Italy and Mexico. Can someone tell an “Old Soldier” is this common or normal on our bases today? When I was in we NEVER had foreign troops in that quantity or variety training on our bases. We may have had a couple dozen from a specific country that we are allied with but that was it. Region of US South East. Just asking what is the NORM. Sorry if I screwed this up I have never posted an article or Question.
