There’s An Election-Day Fight Brewing Over Ohio’s Electronic Voting Machines

Ohio, one of this election’s major battlegrounds, is at the center of an 11th-hour lawsuit over its electronic voting machines.

Robert Fitrakis, a Green Party candidate for U.S. Congress, has asked a federal judge to block the use of the machines in vote counting, because they could be exploited due to a software “back door,” according to Businessweek.

A spokesman for Ohio Secretary of State Jon Husted, who is one of the defendants, told Businessweek that there is absolutely no vulnerability to the system.
He called the allegations “ridiculous.”
