To win the war on terror change the enemy to state terrorism.

“Yes, we were victims of the dictatorship, but it was not only we—the victimized— but they, too, the ones who constructed the victims. The triumphant battalion was born in fear and through fear. And by implanting terror it terrorized itself as well. Triumph and defeat were decided in the torture chamber in a war that almost never was a war; in this way, stripped of belligerence and swollen with horror and violence, this war both sealed our destruction and undid all values and principles of civility.” – Flávio Tavares. [1].

“Politics, at its core, involves arguments over the meaning of events, and such acts of interpretation tell agents ‘‘who they are’’ and ‘‘what they want.’’” -Wesley W. Widmaier, Mark Blyth, and Leonard Seabrooke. [2].

“The government has now lost four times in a litigation that has gone on almost nine months. It lost the preliminary injunction in May. It lost a motion for reconsideration shortly thereafter. It lost the permanent injunction. It lost its request last week for a stay. We won’t stop fighting this, but it is deeply disturbing that the Obama administration, rather than protecting our civil liberties and democracy, insists on further eroding them by expanding the power of the military to seize U.S. citizens and control our streets.” – Chris Hedges. [3].

“My frustration with self-professed liberals is that they’re entranced with the rhetoric of Obama and utterly ignore the facts, utterly ignore what he has done. And as you mentioned earlier, I think what we are seeing is in essence a rewriting of the legal code to criminalize any form of legitimate dissent. And that’s because the corporate state, corporate power, understands very well what’s coming both in terms of the environmental crisis and the economic crisis. And they want the legal mechanisms to shut it down.” – Chris Hedges. [4].

There is no longer any excuse to be ignorant of the fact that 9/11 was an inside job. As a result of this fact, the West lives in a state of tyranny.

But if the shocking truth about the 9/11 events didn’t wake people up from their sleep, the Orwell-inspired language in the NDAA certainly did.

The indefinite detention provisions in the 2012 NDAA bill that was signed into law by President Obama on December 31st, 2011, served as a wake up call to many people that the totalitarian future that was warned about for decades by writers and filmmakers is now an inescapable reality staring us in the face.
