New LAPD Police Policy – Report Normal Activities As Possible Terrorism

The Los Angeles Police Commission as approved a controversial new policy directing officers to document various behaviors they believe could be linked to terrorism.

The City of Los Angeles California has now made it official policy for officer’s to report various ordinary day-to-day activities as potential signs of terrorism.

These activities encompass a broad range of activities from parking illegally in front of a building to taking pictures of public monuments and cover nearly every public place in which they are conducted.

The new guidelines posted on the LAPD website follow directives issued by various branches of Department of Homeland Security whichlabeled everything from purchasing coffee with cash to sweating in a public place as a potential sign of terrorism.
