RFK assassination witness tells CNN: There was a second shooter

“What has to come out is that there was another shooter to my right,” Rhodes-Hughes said in an exclusive interview with CNN. “The truth has got to be told. No more cover-ups.”

RFK was gunned down by another “lone-gunman” – the first being Lee Harvey Oswald – in Los Angeles, over 40 years ago. The official version of the story is that a radical Palestinian, Sirhan Sirhan, who disliked Kennedy because of his support of Israel, did the shooting. His gun held 8 bullets and now after decades a witness, Nina Rhodes-Hughes, who was there that fateful night, claims she heard at least 12 shoots. She was facing Sirhan when Senator Kennedy was gunned down. She told her story to the FBI and was never called as a witness at Sirhan’s trial. This is the way the game is played. How can this be possible? How can this crucial witness be somehow ignored and brushed aside? The answer is simple, in my opinion she wasn’t called because her version of the events would have cast doubt on the lone-gunman theory and thus would have opened the possibility of a conspiracy. So why after 44 years does this information surface and why was it tucked away from the attention of the public, in the first place?

Unfortunately most Americans will shrug it off and focus their attention on bigger things like American Idol or the whereabouts of Kim Kardashian. The press failed in their job as they did not report this woman’s story. The FBI may have deliberately skewed the Rhodes-Hughes’ story, at least this is what she claims, as when reading what she allegedly said, in regard to the assassination in the official version set forth by the FBI, denies that she said it.
