The Silence of September 11

At precisely 8:46 this morning — when a commercial airplane we are told was hijacked struck one of the World Trade Center’s twin towers in Lower Manhattan — a commemorative ceremony at Ground Zero began with a moment of silence.

Silence has followed ever since the attack and continues until this day, as Peter Dale Scott explains:
