And millions wonder why…the heathen rage and the people suppose delusive thoughts. The executive sets himself against the Lord’s immutable elements and the rulers counsel one another that their works are greater than the laws of God that bind them. They vow to overcome and with abandon cast aside the transcendence of His dominance and power, thinking they alone are the arbiters of their fate and rulers of their destiny. The Lord in heaven beholds their efforts in derision, addresses them with wrath, and visits them with the auguries of His great displeasure.
